Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses a suction technique to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. We offer two different types of liposuction.

VASERlipo®

Power-Assisted Liposuction

We also utilize a power-assisted Liposuction device that allows us to remove fat from any area of your body and allocate it in to a different area of your body such as, breasts and buttocks.  Power-assisted liposuction is similar to traditional liposuction, however, a vibrating tipped cannula is used to assist fat cell breakdown and the fat removal process. Power-assisted liposuction is sometimes considered a form of high definition liposuction, like Vaser liposuction. The tool used in power-assisted liposuction breaks up fat cells and loosens the stubborn fat deposits for easier removal with less surrounding tissue damage. Power-assisted liposuction can be used for body contouring and body sculpting. 

Minimally invasive, performed in less than half an hour, and requiring nearly no downtime, the PDO Threat Lift is the ideal rejuvenating procedure for: 

(1) lifting sagging skin of the brows, under-eyes, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lower face, jawline, neck, chest, knees, arms and stomach and 

(2) enhancing certain features like the eyes, nose (e.g. tilting up tip) and lips (e.g. lip flip). 

Biodegradable threads are precisely and intricately inserted into the subdermal layer with a hypodermic needle and holds up the skin, inducing collagen growth that becomes the scaffold holding the skin in place as the threads are reabsorbed naturally by the body within 6 months. The results last up to three years and may be repeated, with each procedure creating more collagen.

In the rare case that a thread shows through the skin or moves to a different position, they can be removed safely and easily.

Kybella is a specialized injectable treatment composed of deoxycholic acid that is designed to break down fat cells, leaving a leaner, sculpted chin profile; however, in some persons, it may be used for other areas of the face and body. The injection works in the fat layer under the skin to break down fat cells and reduce the thickness of the fat layer under the skin. Between weeks 3 to 6, the body will excrete the destroyed adipose cells. This slow process is the key and essential for the appearance of the skin once the fat is gone, giving the skin time to slowly adjust to the transformation, unlike liposuction which is instant, often resulting in loose skin or lumpiness. The results are permanent. 

Kybella is FDA-approved for breaking down submental fat under the chin, which is the specific area of fat that is located under the chin and above the neck. Deoxycholic acid has been used extensively and successfully in medicine when the breakdown of fats has been necessary.

It is well-known that Botox Cosmetic is a non-surgical injectable with purified botulinum toxin A for the temporarily blockade of nerve impulses around the eyes, forehead, and mouth for a relaxed appearance but most do not know that Botox can also be used to reduce the size of the lower face/jaws, create fullness to the lips, lift the eyes/brows to change their shape. It also is recommended and being used more for prevention. Not only is Botox extremely effective for diminishing wrinkles, creases and furrows around the forehead and eyes, it is also a preventative treatment - Botox stops the contraction of muscles, thus preventing lines from beginning or worsening. It is highly recommended that anyone who desires preventing wrinkles use Botox, not just 20- and 30-year-olds: It is more time- intensive to treat than prevent. However, repeated use of Botox for treatment actually results in less need for Botox and eventually in many cases not needing Botox again. Botox can be used also to treat physical ailments like migraines, TMJ, and excessive perspiration. FDA approved, the results are immediate and last typically 3-4 months with no downtime afterward.
